Each year, our profession as winemakers faces new challenges, requiring an ability to adapt to climatic conditions. The 2023 vintage began with abundant spring rains, followed by beautiful weather returning from the second week of August, demanding increased vigilance.
Throughout the season, we had to contend with a period of heavy rainfall from June to mid-August, before experiencing an unprecedented heatwave. Despite these challenges, the harvest, carried out from September 15 to 22, allowed us to gather grapes of great quality, with remarkable aromatic richness.
On the palate, the 2023 vintage of Pindefleurs reveals an elegant tension and a subtle aromatic palette, supported by a persistent finish. This wine combines lightness, silkiness, and digestibility.
