[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The history of Ch\u00e2teau Pindefleurs begins ATTENTION in 1625 when Saint-Emilion\u2019s mayor, Antoine de S\u00e8ze, constructs the property. It then passes into the ownership of Micheline Dior, cousin of the world-famous fashion icon. In 2006, Madame Dominique Lauret takes the reins, breathing new life into Pindefleurs. Her daughter, Audrey Lauret, becomes technical director, watching over the vineyard and guiding the production of the wines. The 20-hectare (50-acre) estate is planted with 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc upon clay, limestone and gravel soils typical of Saint-Emilion. Our winemaking and growing techniques are mindful of our tradition, including an ageing period of 12 months in French oak barrels that are renewed each year. Nonetheless, we embrace the very latest in technology. Moreover, the wine is produced without using Sulphur and no maturing in barrels, always to the fruits advantage.
